Lime plaster walls, not a gyprock patch
Venetian plaster is decorative lime work. Baldo learned it in Europe and still applies it in Melbourne. It is not a hole in the gyprock filled and painted. The wall is built up in thin coats until the finish has depth.
Finishes: Marmorino, Spatula Stushii, Split Stone (Pietra), Tadelakt, Limestone (Travertino), Zen, Gioia, Morbido Tocco.
Where a lime wall belongs
Feature walls, bathrooms that can take lime, shops that want texture instead of a flat colour. Tadelakt is the wet-area finish.
Paint is a different job
Flat colour on plasterboard sits on interior painting. A reno that opens the rooms first sits on house renovations.
